Cron is relative to a clock
Crontab uses the machine timezone. CronFox stores the expression and workers evaluate it on the service clock (UTC). Preview any IANA zone here; production does not copy that zone onto the task. Use UTC expressions when you need a fixed offset.
Local vs UTC columns
Local is formatted in the preview timezone. UTC is the same instant. Relative time uses days, hours, minutes, or “in less than a minute.”
DST
If the selected zone observes DST, occurrences around the transition may skip or repeat an hour. Implementations do not all agree on skipped wall times.
