Using CronFox

Analytics

User, task, and collection charts in the CronFox dashboard.

Overview

Analytics summarizes how your jobs are behaving over time — successes, failures, and activity across tasks and collections. Use it after you have a few days of executions so trends are meaningful.

Open analytics

  1. Sign in.
  2. Click Analytics in the app sidebar (/analytics).
  3. Switch between the available scopes (user / task / collection) as shown in the UI.

The Dashboard (/dashboard) also shows high-level stats and recent tasks for a quicker pulse check.

What you can see

Depending on the chart set in the product:

  • Overall run volume and outcomes
  • Per-task health (useful after a deploy)
  • Per-collection rollups when you group jobs by product

Exact chart layouts can evolve; treat Analytics as the place for trends, and the task execution list as the place for a single failed run.

How to use it

  1. After enabling new tasks, wait for several scheduled runs.
  2. Open Analytics and look for rising failure rates or silent collections (no runs).
  3. Drill into the collection or task and inspect executions.
  4. Fix the URL, auth, or schedule; optionally add failure alerts.

Tip: Pair Analytics with integrations. Charts show the pattern; Slack or email tells you about the next failure immediately.
